My football CV is as follows: Up until
leaving school, the only team I had played for was my school teams, as back then there was no local leagues. Up until my late
twenties I spent most of my Saturday afternoons watching my beloved Tottenham Hotspur, and played only Sunday league football.
Then I had a spell playing for Brimsdown Rovers (semi pro level) who were playing for in the Spartan League at the time.
I have managed an Adult team at Sunday league level.But it was while coaching Haringey Borough Youth in the Waltham Forest League when
I developed my thirst and enthusiasm for coaching juniors. Since then I have coached Belmont primary school, looking
after both the boy and girl’s teams. I am at present working for a Soccer School. I use to run my own training sessions
for juniors at a sports center in Tottenham. My other football experiences
include, being a football scout for Leyton Orient Football Club. I am at present a scout for Billericay Town in the Ryman
premier league; my duties include writing match reports on the opposition and looking for new players of all ages. I am also
a scout for UKFCN. It’s only in the last 4 to
5 years that I decided to try and make a living from a career that I have always done as a volunteer. I did my level 1 course
in December 2003. I also have a C.S.L.A (community sports leader award) I am at present doing my level 2. I have also worked as a football coach in a private
school in North London. Their ages range from 9 up to 16. This included managing 8 of the schools football
teams. In recent times I'veI also
manage an U10's team (Haringey Borough), in
the Waltham Forest & District Youth League.
At present I am working in a school in Haringey, N London, My title is Sports mentor, but my role is that of a PE teacher;
